La Fresque is composed of a varying number of musicians driven by the same ambition: promoting the chamber music repertoire for wind instruments. Oboists, clarinettists, flutists, bassoonists, horn players, trumpeters and trombonists, they are all soloists or members of famous orchestras (Paris Orchestra, Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, Marseilles Philharmonic orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic orchestra…). They decided to gather in order to support masterpieces written for wind ensembles (Strauss, Dvorak, Mozart, Stravinski…). They are also eager to shine a light on beautiful musical works thanks to transcriptions.
